Following our Chief Executive Officer, Carys Wynne-Morgan’s, decision to move on to develop her career, the Aloud Charity Board of Trustees are pleased to announce that Steve Dimmick will be taking the role of Interim Chief Executive. The Board are extremely grateful to Carys for her work and extend a warm welcome to Steve.
Steve will lead the Aloud team to ensure that the work of providing young singers with fantastic opportunities and support continues. He will also support the Board as they consider the best way to continue to provide the best possible support for the young singers, so that they can build on the excellent work done by Aloud over the years and maintain Aloud’s work and reputation for the future.
Steve Dimmick said “Aloud has an extraordinary ability to bring young people together and give them a voice, on stage and in life. I’m excited to work with the team and Board to build on that momentum. My focus will be on ensuring continuity, strengthening what works and helping shape a confident next chapter for the charity.”
The Chair of the Aloud Board of Trustees, Dr Ian Rees, said “We are pleased to welcome a person who is so committed, enthusiastic and dynamic to lead the charity over the coming months. We are determined to ensure that the work of Aloud will continue for years to come and are keen to work with Steve to determine the best way of doing that”.
