Volunteer with Us
Volunteers are important members of our Aloud Family and we couldn’t do everything we do without them. Find out how you can get involved.
From Trustees to Community Leaders, we depend on our wonderful volunteers on a daily basis. As a charity driven by our communities, there are so many ways to get involved, from distributing sheet music to lending a hand in our offices! Whether it’s minutes or months, hours or days, the time you give really does make a difference.
Got an interesting idea of how you can support us? Please get in touch – we love hearing your suggestions.
So why volunteer with The Aloud Charity?
Support your local community
We host weekly rehearsals across Wales, in sports clubs, village halls and churches. Our Community Leaders are an essential part of our ability to deliver sessions seamlessly!
Meet like-minded people
When you volunteer with Aloud, you become part of the family, whether you’re supporting teenagers at weekly choir rehearsals, helping out at events or advising our team as part of our Board of Trustees.
Gain rewarding experience
Volunteering as part of our team not only provides a fantastic insight into the world of performing arts and charity, but may help you develop new skills and will certainly give you meaningful and interesting life experiences!
Fundraise
Raising money for The Aloud Charity supports every element of our work and is a wonderful way to make a difference! If you’re inspired to take on a challenge or get involved in a sponsored event, please contact us for useful hints, tips and suggestions for making your fundraising a success. You can visit our Fundraising page for more information and ideas.
Join our Board of Trustees
If you have valuable experience or skills to offer, you may be a fabulous addition to our Board of Trustees. When we are recruiting, information is available on our Vacancies page. For any other details please contact us.
Community Leaders
Each time we hold a rehearsal (whether it’s with 6 or 250 teenagers!) we need Community Leaders. They are the glue that hold local rehearsals together, and they provide vital support at events across the charity, as well as providing pastoral care to our participants. We have a wonderful team of Community Leaders throughout Wales and we appreciate all their hard work.
