Fundraise With Us

We've got loads of great fundraising events, ideas and inspiration to help you raise money for our projects in Wales.

Whether you want to organise your own event or take on a charity challenge, we’re here to help your fundraising idea be a success.

You don’t need to spend hours a week or run 100 marathons to get involved! Something as simple as a bake sale, clothes swap or even hosting a talk at your school can make a huge difference to our ability to deliver the highest-quality activity for our participants.

We love hearing your ideas of how to raise funds. No suggestion is too big or too small, so please get in touch and we’ll be happy to talk it through.

Here is our easy four step plan for fundraising success:

1

Choose your challenge!

If this is your first time organizing an event, keep it simple and start with what you know, or take part in an existing event, such as a sponsored walk.

2

Plan and Promote

Think carefully about everything you’ll need to make your fundraising a success. Speak to our Fundraising team to talk through your ideas and for additional materials and resources, like Sponsorship Forms, stickers and banners. Consider whether you’ll need special licenses or charity information and let as many people as possible know your plans – the more people you can get involved, the more money you will raise!

3

Enjoy your event

After all that hard work, you should feel proud that you’re making a difference in your support of our charity. Make sure you take photos and share them with us on social media.

4

Pay in your Fundraising

If you’ve used a fundraising platform like VirginMoneyGiving or JustGiving, your donations will automatically be sent to us safely. We’ll let you know when they arrive! If you’ve collected cash or cheques, please get in touch to check the best way of getting the money to us.

Good luck – and happy fundraising!
