Pam fy mod yn gwirfoddoli gydag Aloud
“I have a passion for music, theatre and the arts in general so working with Aloud, getting young people involved to develop a variety of life skills whilst carrying on the tradition of choral singing can only be a brilliant thing!
Aloud provides numerous opportunities, which members may never get to experience, within an environment where they feel part of a great team often referred to as their ‘Aloud family’ which they are always immensely proud of.”

“Being a volunteer involves supporting choir members in a fully inclusive way at weekly and national rehearsals, on buses travelling to and from rehearsals/events and at the many performances they participate in.
In the main, a volunteer with Aloud is very much a pastoral care role. As part of a great wider team, it is important to be a positive role model being welcoming and approachable. Listening to and connecting with the members to gain their trust and provide them with an enjoyable experience within a safe, comfortable environment is an essential part of the volunteer role.”

“Volunteering is definitely rewarding for a variety of reasons. Over the years I have seen a number of young people build their confidence in many areas, not just in music or performing, and it’s always a pleasure knowing we have played a small part in their development/success.
The incredible opportunities and experiences offered are endless. The important life-skills achieved as part of such an organisation are immeasurable and long may it continue. Young people get enough bad press for a variety of reasons but organisations such as this do great things providing life changing experiences.”
