Biography
Maria has worked in the third sector for over thirty years, gaining an understanding of various groups including adults with learning difficulties, children, older people, and those experiencing homelessness. She has also worked in commercial organisations.
Maria has studied at the various colleges and universities that now make up the University of South Wales and has developed her accounting skills and management of people. She is continuing her studies to achieve Chartered Accountant status.
While in the world of accounting creativity may not be the first thing that comes to mind, Maria keeps her creativity for other things! She enjoys playing her Spanish guitar and has performed her own songs at folk camp. She knows the power of music and how it can benefit and is so pleased to have joined The Aloud Charity.
Maria’s other interests including star gazing, history, and archaeology (which as she says “is the study of everything!”)
