Jenny Pearson

Jenny Pearson was born and raised in North Wales, studied music at Bangor university and then voice with the inspirational Joan Carlyle (RAM).

Jenny works extensively as a freelance choral conductor, singer, singing teacher, vocal animateur and workshop facilitator for many organisations including WNO, National Youth Choir of Wales, Cânsing, Only Kids Aloud and the NHS.

Jenny began working with Only Boys Aloud when the North Wales hubs started in 2015. Under normal circumstances Jenny is a rehearsal leader with the Caernarfon hub and has enjoyed continuing successful face to face rehearsals online. Jenny’s work with OBA is extremely rewarding, helping young people work together not just to create a fantastic sound but a tight knit community where every person feels secure and supported in their singing.

Jenny lives in the hills near Bangor with her family and loves nothing more than long walks with her two daft dogs, Jeff and Jazz!
