Tyler Smith

OBA

Tyler was a member of OBA Caerphilly between 2010 and 2017, and now works as a Police Officer for South Wales Police.

We caught up with Tyler to hear about his experiences with The Aloud Charity.

What was the best thing about being in OBA?

Only Boys Aloud was an amazing project. It grew my confidence when it comes to talking in front of people and applying for jobs.

As a teenager what were your ambitions?

As a teenager I wanted to be a Police Officer and Only Boys Aloud gave me the fundamental skills to  do this.

What advice would you give to a boy who is thinking about joining OBA?

Just give it a go! It’s a relaxing environment and the Choir Leaders ensure that singing is fun and enjoyable.

Can you sum up your OBA experience in 3 words?
