Tomas Touhig

OBA

Tomas was a member of OBA Ebbw Vale before moving to the Cwmbran group between 2011 and 2013. He is now working as an Engineering Asset Planning Manager for 16 ports across the UK.

We caught up with Tomas to hear about his experiences with The Aloud Charity.

What was the best thing about being in OBA?

The best thing about OBA was being able to get to know lots of people with similar beliefs, and being able to sing together in incredible venues.

As a teenager what were your ambitions?

I wanted to be a Mechanical Engineer.

What advice would you give a boy who is thinking about joining OBA?

My advice is that you should definitely join! You will gain friends for life and experience once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

Can you sum up your OBA experience in 3 words?

Incredible, fun, memorable.
